Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what the Stretch iOS app (“Stretch”, “we”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email talzvi99@gmail.com.

We don't ask you to create an account

Stretch has no sign-up, no login and no password. We don't ask for your name, your address or your phone number.

What stays on your device

Your stretching data is stored on your iPhone or iPad and is not uploaded to us: your answers to the setup questions, the areas you marked as tight, your routines, streak, minutes, flexibility check-ins, lesson progress and app settings. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs this data to your own private iCloud account so your progress follows you to a new device. It is stored in your Apple account, not ours — we cannot read it. To stop this, turn off iCloud for Stretch in your device's Settings.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Stretch saves your completed stretching sessions to Health as workouts. We only write these sessions; we do not read your health data, and nothing from Apple Health is sent to us or to any third party or used for advertising.

Usage and diagnostic data

We collect information about how the app is used — which screens are opened, which routines and lessons are started and finished, your answers to the setup questions, and technical details such as your device model, operating system version, app version, language and country. It is linked to a random identifier created when you install the app, not to your name or contact details. We use it to see what's working, fix problems and decide what to build next. Our analytics provider is PostHog.

Videos

Lesson videos are embedded from YouTube and play through YouTube's player. When you play one, YouTube (Google) receives the information its player normally collects, under Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment card details — Apple handles the transaction. We use Adapty to verify receipts and manage subscription status, which means Adapty processes your purchase history, the random app identifier and basic device information on our behalf.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we send reminders at the time you choose to do your routine. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.

No tracking and no ads

Stretch shows no third-party advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who else your data goes to

We don't sell your data and we don't share it beyond the providers that make the app work:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Children

Stretch is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including the EEA and UK under the GDPR, and California under the CCPA — you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. For anything held by us or our providers, email talzvi99@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention and security

We keep usage data only as long as it's useful for improving the app, and support emails only as long as needed to resolve your issue. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
